Software Problem?

Hi,

I have a problem with my PSI - PR302 FTA receiver. The writing
on the tv screen becomes a heap of jumbled up letters, like just
pressing all keys on a keyboard. I then need a factory reset to
get rid of it. I then lose all my settings which I manually have to reset. I would like to programme all the Asia Pac. sats into the
receiver through the RS232 scart connector instead of having the
factory reset sats. Could someone please advise as to the best
way this could be done. This is most likely a software problem.
I have Windows XP.

Dont know the box mate, maybe another member will?
But cant you just power down the unit and let it reset that way as opposed to a factory reset? That shouldnt erase sats????

Thanks for the reply Simmo.

I have switched off receiver and anything else I can think of.
It is still there when swiched on again. I thought if I could programme the sats I want, it would be easeir the next time
it happens which is about once a month or two.
It is otherwise has exellent reception and an easy to use receiver.

Thanks

Sounds like a symptom of buggy software in the box.

Try and find the manufacturer? and ask about a software update
