Humax Help!
Hi all,
I have a Humax receiver that is really playing up! It's the 5400 (or is it 5410 - oops, not sure now). I tried to scan some channels in but when it came time to save them I got the following error message: "Service limit reached" There are OVER 3950 slots free (no radio saved), so how can I get this message? I have had this Humax for 6 months with no problems but now, all of a sudden it repeats this error message when I try to do what I have always done! Please help!! |

Moved to decoders.
The difference between the 5400 and 5410 - the 5410 has no changable cam, it's internal. Are you sure no radio channels are saved? |

I'll work out exactly what model I have tonight. Definitely no radio stations saved...it even states that there are (eg) 3961 slots free.
What does the cam do? Thanks for the reply. |

The CAM is a bit like a PCMCIA module, it accepts a smartcard for different encryptions. You don't need one for FTA chasing.

humax problem
from horst
what you have to do normally; you have to cancel all your stations by using the red button on the remote control follow the manual re install all providers again i had to do this many times for other people. h_strecker@bigpond.com |
