Very Nice

Do I see Ethernet and SCSI connectors on the back?

The main problem I see with the dreambox is the fact that it doesn't autoscan. Then again that can be fixed with a $200 auto scan receiver haning off it.

Uli must be getting help from BEC because that it what these boxes are in.

Check also this new type of Media Box. It has a DVB-t card so all u would have to do to turn it into a sat box would be change the card. Check the back it is also a full computer. U can plug in a tellie or Monitor or both. That is a DVD burner in the front. Has SPDIF in/out, 8 channel surround, DVD-audio, card reader under top left flap etc etc...

Actually I have a similar motherboard (EPIA-M 1Gig minature) in a tiny pc box with a DVBs 2.1 Technotrend sat PCI card and it sits next to the telly. Does everything a DreamBox does and is a full puter to boot. The TT 2.1 also does 1-45 MS/s

That does look like a nice box. I guess the prices will continue to come down in time.
