SCPC Installation And Secret Menus On Panasat Decoders

I have been doing some reasearch about Panasat decoders which are now usually branded "Multichoice" in South Africa or "Foxtel" in Australia. The research I am doing relates to the the procedure which is used to make these Decoders to be able to receive SCPC channels(i.e with Symbol Rates below 15 000). I have been told that Panasat IRD 630 has a "secret menu" which is used when programming SCPC channels. The problem that I am having is that all the web sites that I am visiting so far say that the procedure of accessing the "secret menu" is now well known but they do not say what the procedure is. Can you please help me by telling me the procedure for programming SCPC channels ? If you are not in a position of telling me the procedure can you please refer me to someone whom you think might be able to help me.[/B]

I,d really like to help you, but I,ve lost the eye dropper
And Your post also gave me a headache

As for secret menu's, I think you could be confussing the old RED
menu on a Nokia... happy days,
What you may have to do is reload the software, with software that will allow you to access SCPC
Theres a link somewhere on this site that will give you just about every software download known [except for nokia]

But please tell us,, will your computer run out of ink quicker useing
that much INK on your posts... :? :? :?

Thumbs up Entering 4 digit SR

In order to enter a Symol Rate below 15 000 what one has to do is to use the arrow keys on the remote to highligt the Symbol Rate option then ( before pressing OK so that the Symbol Rate can be entered) you press 0 then OK, then enter the SR then press OK . This method works with any SR that is at least 2000.
