PACE DGT400
I was given a PACE DGT400 by an American friend. He told me that this decoder is only suitable for FTA KU band and not suitable for Pay TV. Anyone out there using this decoder that can tell me if this is an analogue or digital decoder and if this can be cammed to view pay TV or not? . I can't test the unit with 230V and wonder if it is worth to change the transformer inside the unit to take Aussie voltage.

star trooper, I don't think people will care in here if it can get PAY.
There might be some that can tell you how to get FTA.

Yes, I know the rules. My questions is if this unit is suitable for FTA for KU band, digital or analogue. The second part of the question is not that significant. Anyway, someone just told me that this unit might not from USA and it is widely used in Australia pay Tv. Not sure which (not interested to know) but though might be good to have a second decoder for KU band beside my C band Hummy.

If you can't get into the menu, to check the loading, forget it..
and the reverse is true, [from what our american brother told you] That was diplomatic, or Me But if you want a bit of friendly advice about your door stop.. Ask your questions from the Children on Austech or Hidden Vison, This is a FRA Forum,,,and will stay that way....One question, is one too many..
