Should be very cheap as well..

i see it as a cheap 2nd unit running as "slave" for hunting dx and feeds. No need to hook up to a pc to scan either.

Might see about an Apsattv special deal if there is interest in this unit

Yes, I remembered last year when I was on a business trip to Asia, this company was bragging about blind scanning in FTA satellite but I didn't understand what they're talking about ( I wasn't in this hobby last year). They are located in Jiangsu China.

what are you on about bassett?

from http://www.dvbresource.com/receivers/coship_3188c/coship_3188c_1.html

It seemed that the scanning frequencies jumped every 4 MHz. and the complete scan took about 7 minutes . There is a selector box to check off under 4 mhz.scan and gave it a whirl. The scan took 17 minutes and pulled in everything including BVN !

One thing I am wondering about is how a PAL output unit handles NTSC like Hallmark and BBC World on Pas8. I think I'd still want one though. As it is I'm totally reliant on someone else for frequency and symbol rate.

Apsattv, I don't want to steal your thread, but as you are in New Zealand and I in Australia. I will offer the Australian members only, the opportunity to purchase these.

So if your Australian only and you wish to purchase this receiver, pm me your details. When numbers reach 10, I will place an order. All orders will be then confirmed and a deposit of 50% or full payment is required via direct deposit only or money order.

Price $295+gst+p&h. It will be cheaper if the orders exceed 10.

If orders don't reach 10, I won't bother, and I will notify all people here.

(see links below for price comparisons.)

Looks like an ideal 2nd unit slaved to your main receiver.

Think of it more as a enthusiasts tool

I was referring to the factory in China wanting orders of 2000 units at a time.

or were you going to order direct from the U.S?

anyway have units on there way see how the price compares once they arrive.
