Receivers

does management think it might be a good idea to split the receiver section in to specific sections for differant receivers, as its going to get very compecated sorting out differant threads on a specific receiver. If someone wants help setting up a receiver.

As management is very forward thinking in there approch to good ideas Would it not be a good idea, to have the following sub-sections
Humax, eMetabox, Fortec-Star, Extreem, Strong, and other
models. Then if other models gets overloaded with a specific receiver, another sub- section title can be created

What about NOKIAs and what about Dreams and what about UECs .............. I think NOKIAS at least should be at top of list, not forgotten altogether.

I reckon the amount of posts dosn't require that as yet. The problem with to many forum topics is they tend to end up empty.

I say leave as it is until it becomes a problem.

It was just a thought for debate, Most forums have sub-sections and it is a way of growth.. and if you don,t grow you die.

Sorry if I forgot any receivers, Streeter. As I ay it wa sjust a seggestion, Nokia, Topfield, UEC. Technosat, Atom, Dreambox, etc

But really , UEC, and Dreambox are not free to air box,s But again what constetutes a FTA receiver

As I say, it was only an idea..

I think it's probably not a good idea yet as there is only 719 posts in the decoders section and to make it usefull I would have to create around 20 or so new sections for all the different brands. There would be lots of sections with only a few posts in it which would make the site look kinda lame

If eventually that section gets really busy I will sub section it as necessary.

I had a look at another site, (Forgive me)

Foot scratchers Lounge its called or something like that..

They had to many sub forums, as a new forum user i wasn't going through some XX amount of forums to sub to each section.

better things to do with my time.

If we are thinking of any new forums, i suggest 2

"Blindsearchers"

and "DX"

Speaking of blind searchers...

Has there been any word regarding the status of the updated software for the Powtek/Innovia?
