Might be able to get a few,

I was unable to find much info other than they were to use them in the Netherlands around 1997/8 and Aus about the same time.

Was trying to see what type of CA used and if any card slot.

THanks

Apsattv is right.
There was originally these decoders and the UEC's approved for Aurora on their change from Bmac system. UEC for reasons never fully explained, ended up being the only receiver available for a long long time, until the "local" ( read between the lines) monopoly was broken. If memory serves me right, the next decoder that shook their way into the Aurora system was the reliable Humax, and I think they were being pushed as good for the ethnic channels being tested on Aurora in the old days as well. Although Optus was reluctant to allow all other decoders, they still enabled cards using these newer decoders, but with a rider saying the UEC was the approved receiver, and only one supported when upgrades to their service occurs. I think this is still the case.I have never known of anyone using the Panasonic as a home receiver, and think they were to be used as headend units at retransmission sites?

i have a bunch of these receivers - you can get to the menu and retune them elsewhere, but it looks like only the Aurora transponder is let through.

anyone know how these units can be opened up to allow reception other than aurora?
