Receiver

I just got some emetabox 3 receivers... nice for free to air and other (cough cough ) free programs that you can program in

it also has a ca slot which you can use for irdeto conax or viaccess pay tv card and also two CI slots for everything else

Spdif out and easy to use.... but I'm getting it confused with my humax remote.... sometimes push the wrong buttons lol

buy a bunch and get em cheap lol

I,ve just had a look at the link, The receiver he lists is a emetabox one,,, But its way over priced The right retail price is around $270 and trade is just over $200.. But if he can get that sort of money,, Good Luck to him.

They will do UCAS, with the right software,,

There is one model of Extreem that will do combined satellite, digitial Terrestial FTA. But I,m unsure of the model number

Xtreme UCI-6400 is UCAS (Magic Cam)

Xtreme XTSC-520 is the model that does satellite and Terrestrial TV

I have the Xtreme XSC-520, which I think is a great decoder it had some problems when it first came out but they released a firmware fix.

From my understanding (which is a bit vague and could be wrong) is that KION make the base model and resell to a number of other companies, Xtreme being one off them who make modifications (not sure if they do it or its done at KION's factory).

The downside is that there is so many models/variations which makes it hard to find the right firmware upgrades and software for the Xtreme's, also they don't seem to provide very good support they just pass it onto the users to provide support for other users.
