Yes as long as only one box is configured to use a motor, otherwise there will be conflicting data going up the line
Connect the motor to the 18V horizontal side of the multi switch, it will make it perform better

i have friends who live net door to one another both have ku band dishes set up by me both have 1.2m dishes with 3 lnb and diseq switches which work well but now one of them has found a motorised 3m cband dish which they wish to share.how do i set this up? do i need a dual output c band lnb or a multi switch and will their diseq swiches still work and i take it that the motor will still drive thru multiswich. but i might just lock it on as5 or3 for starters

dual output c band lnb with a leg each going into a port of each neigbours 4 way diseqc switch. Put the positioner on the fence between them and they can fight for which sat they want to watch

Hi,
It would be WAY easier with a proper multiswitch - and possibly cheaper too!! |
