I have not used my 2880a for some time, but did a blind scan of Optus B3 yesterday and got a couple of ABC feeds. However on the 2880a the Frequency was shown as 13186 H 6984 and 13204 H 6984 which were obviously incorrect.

I checked some known stations on B3 and discovered that the 2880a was showing the freq as 647 too high on ALL stations.

Deleting 647 from the above to give 12539 H 6984 and 12557 H 6984 and putting them into my Star dvbs3800ca brought up the two ABC feeds fine.

Has anyone come across this with the 2880A before? Would a factory reset fix it?

Mike.

have you put on a different lnb at all? hasn't happened to my star at all. a 10650 and a 11300 lnb switch may do this. try a factory reset, if you don't mind losing all channels, and satellite info.

Your receiver setup LNB frequency is incorrectly set....make it read the same as what's written on the LNB, or just try the common frequencies to save your legs.

No, I originally had only a C-Band LNB which I changed over to a Yuri C/Ku band LNB which has a Universal LNB for Ku and a Normal LNB for C-Band. So I am always switching back and forward between the two.

This difference of 650 is of course the difference I was getting, so looks like you are on the right track there. I will see if I can reset the decoder and see what happens.

Thanks - Mike.
