STAR 2800A Error Message

Hello all. Don't know if this has come up before so sorry if it has. I have a STAR 2800A and when I do a blind scan it is telling me 'The database is full'. Any idea on how I can remedy this one? Thanks in advance.

You need to delete some of the tp's from your sat(s), then it will be fine. If you keep blindscanning without deleting some it fills up very quickly:)

Ok. Thanks. Just quickly, what is the quickest way of doing it? I deleted some channels that were no longer active and it still seems to have this problem.

I have reset to factory settings and doing a scan and still appears that nothing shows now :confused: :confused:

Sorry, watching cricket!
Have it packed away now but I think it is in the edit sat area. If you have a look you will find it, its not a hidden menu or anything. I think you can edit tp, delete tp add tp etc etc. The factory reset may not clear it all, I am not sure there.:)

Ok, did a factory clear and now seem to be getting things back. Pity some of my old 'raw media' feeds are gone :( . Another scan while they are broadcasting will be in order.
