I am trying to setup a eMTech em100 model receiver for a friend. He wants to use it to support FTA in NA with B3V. I wasn't sure if this box supports FTA and where I can find the needed updates for it. I haven't been able to find much information on it online.

Here is the system information:

Model ID: C100
H/W Version: 2.10
S/W Version: 2.23

I noticed on the back of the box, there is SCART ports. I don't recall the previous user having to connect using these cables. Is there firmware that will provide a workaround and support FTA in NA?

Here we go again. What you guys call "FTA" is the stealing of pay tv service via code entry machines.

Vetrun.com doesn't support that

What we call FTA is satellite transmission sent without any form of encryption. Which is what the Emtechs are designed for receiving.
