Hi I am a total newbie to this but I was wondering if I can Recive DSTV via satellite or A live feed online or somthing but my problem is i Live in auckland could I maybe get SABC 1 2 3 (FTA) Channels I have been searching for years now if there was a site that streams the FTA chennels online even one that may have M-NET or maybe any othere channels but no I haven't found a channel yet is there any way or has somone who you know or even you got a live feed oh and another question can I use A DSD-720I for freeview satellite television or even SKY but I don't think that that is possible as UEc uses inteo or what evere sky uses NDS/Videoguard but I don't think that the decodeing software matters as it is FTA anyway and i have heard that for those kinds of deoders you don't have to have a smartcard for FTA it just won't decode scrambled television

can somone help me

please

Thanks

Short answer: No.
Longer answer: A Slingbox-based solution, perhaps. Google "Slingbox", don't ask here.

BTW, your "." key seems to be broken.

I've been testing reception from Intelsat10 here in NZ via HAVA which is like Slingbox but far better.

I didn't see SABC but the other South African service Multichoice worked fine.

There is one of the SABC and also Africa Magic which carries more local SA content.

I can provide you the DSTV package to NZ but I'm afraid you wont like the cost. We have many expats in the USA Argentina China Japan Taiwan Malaysia using this system.

The point is what do you get on DSTV that you really are prepared to pay for?

A DSD-720I for freeview satellite television
I tried this decoder for fta.It scans all channels and locked to all channels.I input all passwords when asked for but keeps telling "please insert card". And I do not have any old or new card.

Try inserting something that's the same size, shape and thickness as a smartcard. I think it just needs the microswitch activated to keep it happy.
