I have a problem with my Manhattan plaza st 120 , for some unknown reason it has started scrolling all the time for example if you go to system to set the time and date the commands keep scrolling very fast which makes it almost impossible to select the command you want. It also happens when you want to change channels or satellites I have looked at everything and even tried the master reset but its still doing it?

Checked that out Simmo still no luck, when you look at the digital display on the front of the receiver there is a dot flashing in time with the scrolling in between the 3rd and 4th symbol, it only goes away when you change commands and starts flashing again when you execute that command thus making it scroll again?

Is there a button stuck on your remote?
Does it only do it when the remote in veiwing area of the STB?
If u have a camcorder handy , point the remote at the camera to see if the infrared led is on?
It might be dirty buttons on the remote?

I presume you have shut down, disconnected, and then turned it back on, to see if the problem remains?

I was thinking the same thing as gavatron
check the main remote and any other remotes or try putting your hand in front of the IR port on the decoder.
I had a similar problem with my Xtreme decoder scrolling nonstop in menus etc, it had me puzzled for a while until I found that someone had placed a book on the powtek remote I removed the book and the Xtreme stopped scrolling.

Hmmm..bad luck.
Maybe download a new version of sat edit and attempt a reload of that and see the result, or load a different firmware version to it????
