What's the best PVR Sat Box??

I'm after your thoughts on the best Sat box (preferably with blind scan) that can be used as PVR.

I have a Manhattan 350 but it struggles with Select TV (variable bit rate errors/freezes)

It may be asking too much but I am after a box that can be used both as a pay TV PVR box and a hobby blindscan C and Ku band box?????

Asking too much...??? Just use two boxes loped????

The Mediastar 820's seem popular. I'd buy one if I had the spare cash, but seeing as how I don't, I'll just have to make do with feeding the component output from my Strong 4658X into the component input of my MTV TS-2080 HDD+DVD recorder.
