:confused: i have a 3.0 metre mesh c band fixed on telstar10 Dynasat number one mini this box seems to pick up the c band channels from lnb freq. 5150-11300 with most channels, only the same channel seems to appear on different freqs. and polarities. but when i put the freqs. on to the tarbs 3110 or the 3100 only the "lnb 5150" picks up anything. if you put the same freqs from the other lnb freqs it doesnt get anything..on the dynasat even on a single lnb setting i get the same set of channels on different freqs. and polarities
any comments?

+ on the tarbs box 3110 i get channels with the message "CA info Program is not authorised" NOTE that it does not say encrypted. the channels are authorised on the setup menu
i need to find a way to authorise the programs. but i dont have the tools or the knowledge. any recommendations?

The best thing to do with a Tarbs box is throw it in the shit tin. They are frustrating old crap. Nearly useless. If anyone is thinking to buy one off Ebay etc. JUST DON'T!! If you have one that works at all be happy untill it dies then toss it but you will get more channels from a real box, so replace it as soon as you can. When you throw it out destroy it so no other poor sucker gets stuck with it again.

The dynasat mini will find anything on it's IF frequency input from the LNB but it will only display the correct frequencies if the correct LNB settings are entered.

Forget about these MDS boxes,the only thing they are good for is either in the bin or keep your feet warm at night on cold winters night. The only channels that will allow you to watch on these boxes are TRT on B3 and the Filipino Mux off Pas 8C (Myx and Knowledge channel)..

If you are trying to hack the UBI stuff on Telstar10, dont ask us here we don't help with that at all. Anyway give up on that now because they have said that they will be changing the encrypting on those soon so time and money spent on hacking a TARBs box will be wasted.

Had a friend of mine buy 1 coz he thought it was good looking unit. After some grief he asked me what to do with it. Use it as a wheel chock!! Even that failed

What about the PBS network on i701?

From memory, they are using the exact same MDS/MCATS encryption system.

If you have a 3100 box, you can use an OSlink to modify, or if you have a 3110, you can use a J-TAG to reflash?

And Tarb's box's have been done to death, everythings been done that could be done, and there still of no use..

As someone said sell the thing on e-bay, and bump up the postal charges , to insure some sort of profit.
