Hmmmm from your neck of the woods, I'd dare say it would be very expensive to send it to Australia....why not buy a new box???

This is a quote from one of the Fortec Dealers
"Warranty work beyond 30 days from ordering date is provided by the manufacturer and/or their representative directly and not by us. When you got your order the first time, your item came with a warranty card and the address where to send it for repairs or warranty claim. Please contact the manufacturer directly for any warranty repairs."

The manufacturer may be the best bet for out of warranty repairs also.

And as soon as they see, it's not standard supplied software, your warrenty goes right out the window.

Throw it away and buy another one, there cheap enough.

This receiver is good the way it pickup the signals of a satellite so what am I doing wrong that it will only download the horizontals not the verticals?. Tried shifting in/out the C LNB part of the Yuri also turning it slowly left and right but although I get to 99 % on some H signals [PAS8} cannot get the V. Am new with this S/H receiver with no manual. The Visionnet picked up both but keeps missing some of the FTA of the bottom of the Lyngsat list, although it has a "TP edit" at the bottom of the screen, I cannot find it anywhere on the remote so as to change the numbers. Is there receivers that will download from satellites like the Fortek but with more advanced software?. Possible the Fortek was sold because it had this problem?, also may be long in the tooth?.
