I have a FTA Pansat 3000 (clone)receiver. I downloaded a new bin file but I used a Fortec laoder. Half way the downloading I got an error message and the power went off of the receiver. I can't get the power on again. Anybory knows if I damaged the receiver? Any suggestion as how to fix it?

Try to load the original software again, with the correct loader!

The problem is, It's not a Pansat, but a clone of a Pansat, and many software writers these days , do included a trap in the software to disable non genuine receivers..
But normaly you get a sign, saying that your attempting to use unortherised software.
Also using the incorrect loader, did not help.. It's strange it did not just sit there and do nothing. Most do.
It sounds like it might need a J-tag, but where your going to get the clone software // origianal software, is anyone's guess. Normaly the clone manifacturers, don't have software downloads, or web sites for that matter.
