entering pids with manhattan

Hi all
I have a manhattan st120 and have been entering the pids etc
and selecting the store save option,but when i look back at the tp the pid info
that i entered is not there.
any body no why ?

Are they not there AFTER yoiu have performed search?

I just entered pids & stored then without searching I went back to details & yes they are gone.

Im not sure if it resets to default 0000 once you go back & after it has searched.

Seems weird

the details for the sr,fr,&pol etc stay after saving but the pids entered
retern to 0000 this is before i scan, because whats the point in scanning if the pids wont save.
i managed to save the pids and scan optus c1 for aljazeera a week ago
successfully,but have since repointed dish to pas8,but entering pids on another bird should make no differance. the pids should just save & then i can scan etc. is this a fault with the box ? should i reset to factory default ?
am i doing someing wrong here ? every else with box is fine.
any ideas why the pids wont save would be greatfully thanked.

Doesnt it actually have to find something on that tp to even remember it? Dunno, Pom said something similar didnt he?
