OK Guys there's a new decoder on the market. It's called the Edstein Box.

Funny that it has my name on it. Some screen shots for you. One nice feature is that you can reserve different channels and have the decoder change channels at the appointed time so you don't miss your scheduled shows or in case you need to record onto an external recording device.

Digital Optical Audio output also supplied.

This decoder can only be used on fixed dishes in Taiwan due to Typhoons but for others motorized is a cinch.

Made me think?? Well you did say it was for fixed dishes only.
Pardon my impertinance, but my old UEC can be set up to remind me about a program I want to see and my AUD200 Strong receiver has thumbnails.
What's so special about this USD300 receiver...or can't we talk about that?:)

I have a Strong SRT 4657 with on-board Viacces. Useful for I-Skynet on Telstar 18, although I don't have a card for that service. Apparently I-Skynet have a pron channel, but don't tell anyone.
