I just purchased a new Strong 4657 box this week and it runs like a rocket with a legit card. How ever would some one know the Card Interface baud rate so I may communicate with the box using a season interface. Have worked out it requires a seperate power supply for the season interface but for the life of me I cannot transfer data between computer and STB. My original system communicates well with a Humax 5400.

Thankyou

Welcome to Vetrun Vk3kfk, would you also be able to tell me if I am able to TX a megawatt on 11 mtrs?

This is a FTA site mate, we dont go down the lines of piracy and illegal activites here!! Please firstly, read our site rules and the wealth of info that is here and secondly use google to find somewhere that can help you.

Sir
Thank you for the consructive comments. One meggawatt is theoretically posable on 11m but is niegther pratical or legal. I do not know why you assume that I am conducting some type of illegal or piracy activity so if thats the type of smart alec welcome one get from this group I shall move on a go about my buisness.

Perhaps a little of a smart arse comment! But you got my drift!!
Where as a season interface is not an illegal device on its own, mostly, and especially on a sat forum, (a FTA forum to boot!) one could assume that its purpose would be illegal.
Certainly pay tv providers (aurora IS pay tv) would not wish for people to be reading the details off their cards, for what ever purpose.

Reading your post again, you say you want to communicate between the PC and STB?? Why do you need a season to do that??
