HUMEX Digital Satellite Receiver

I have a HUMEX Digital satellite Receiver also known as the Champion Box, CONAX embedded.Model No. Tx6886=DVB
It is FTA receiver.
Can someone please guide me as to what
this receiver can do.
I have retuned all the C Band Satellites via my motorised Dish. starting from AsiaSat2- to Pass 2 n Pass-8.

Is this the end of the road.or is there something beyond in the FTA areas. which I do not know.

Yeah ,i've got one as well from that Bosnian guy at Sunnybank Hills who's selling them on ebay.
i just went to his house and paid $89 cash directly for it (not won on ebay!)
the box is NEW and looks ok,except for the scratchy mirrored plastic strip over the digital readout display so i've had to replace it with another tinted insert so the unit actualy does look NEW ! :mad:
I havn't had much of a play with it as yet,but will post more details here on my findings.
* 15/03/06 .. I hooked it up to a 90CM KU dish offset (ex Galaxy) ,,,aimed at Optus C1,,,and "fast scanned" the allready programmed transponders,,,inserted a Gold coloured "Aurora"_"BACK-UP" card into the unit for this process,,,i only heard one or two of the Radio stations work,no picture on any TV channels,,but i did this after i deleted all the transponer details to see if the "fast scan" would blindscan the satellite and pick up the transponders itself,,,which didn't happen!
i did however after entering P.I.N 0000 stumble onto a menue where you can manually input VPID and APID details ?
but for me to get those details i needed to have my Humax 5400z with me at the time(and i didn't),so thats another project for another day :confused:

pity I can't answer it...

We seem to be getting more and more posts about stuff on C1 and why it can't be obtained,, might be time to clamp down on this type of post, before it gets out of hand.

Just say "OPEN SESAME" and you will see some channels Open beyond your wildest dreams.:D :D
