Where can i find the upgrade firmware for Xsat 430?

Does anyone know where i can download the firmware upgrade for Xsat 430?

And how do i upgrade the damn thing?

I am so clueless.

We seem to be getting more and more requests for software up-grades, and with respect, this forum is not equiped to handle such requests, as apart from the fact that it's a FTA forum,, Which has nothing to do with software, per-say, there are no software writers contributing, here. the easest way, is for people to do a google search, and with a great deal of luck, you might find something.. But as i have said many timers chinese receivers, don't come with web sites, software extentions, of downloads.. They simply use other peoples stuff.
So what to do when someone askes for a software replacement.
If you could supply a picture [small] of the main menu page, in some cases we might be able to identify it and relate it to a known receiver, or a compaterble receiver using the same software.
Then it's a simple matter of saying XX receivers software is the same, go to this site, for software downloads.. But that is not to say that, "A" genuine software will download, and "B" even if it does download it, willgive you the result , you want.
Doing software downloads, always has a small amount of risk attached to it.
Will it load correctly, will it be compaterable, or put simply , Will it bloody work. If there is a problem, you stand a good chance of converting your receiver into a Door stop. And for the record I have a few of those.
The problem is even more so, when you try and use non-standerd, or non manafacturers software..
So before you reach for the ''null" cable, ask yourself, What advantage will there be for me, with new software.
