Clone scanning of transponders

Hi all,

why does the Manhattan Plaza reconise the same freq in H & V when it is 1 of the same?

Is clone & correct term?

H and V is different. The freq number might be the same but they can use the H and the V for different channals.

Do a search on pol and polarity.

It may well be, that the antenna etc is not skewed correctly, to 'null' the opposite pol.
Therefore, a decoder may well think its getting differant pols, but its not...just a bit of the same on both polarities...
Wtyt2 is correct also. A differant transmission could exist on either polarity at the same frequency.
