I bought a Phoenix satellite receiver what a beauty..friendly to use ucas and locks a very weak signal..better than Fortec. lifetime ultra ;)

I thought they stopped making "Phoenix", when they changed over to digital..
But if your happy with it,, Good luck to you,, Tell me did you trade your fortec in..

I have an old 333 Phoenix, Digital/Analog box. Fantastic analog tuner in the thing will pull a signal out of nothing. 30 step threshold extension, not to much use now but was a great box box back in it's day. Still use it to drive the dish around.
Dose your new one have a positioner Sparky?

bassett it does not have a blind scan,very handy for customers to use.but heaps of software including teletex.

Sparky, my post was a little jest..!!!!
There are not many 'domestic' boxes that "do" 4.2.2........pci cards and DB's can...
PowerVu is an encryption that is specifically designed for providers, do not get caught up in some form of scam that says you 'can get it'....same goes for NDS..

Thanks for the info on your box, lets not delve any further into encryptions eh???

Thanks Sparky, good to get info of new boxes on the market, although this one seems similar to others!
