pacific satellites DSR 2800 ci

I,m trying to fix a problem a friend has with a Pacific Satellites DRS 2800 ci sat. decoder.
Signal strength is ok at 75% quality tuned into a known FTA channel on Optus B3 , audio is fine but there is no video ? Have tried Scart out, AV out, RF out and they,re all the same ,audio ok but no video. Any help appreciated.

B3 12658V SR30000 God Channel, JC TV, the Church Channel

12525V SR30000 ERT Sat, 3ABN etc..etc.
I Don,t think it,s a power vu problem Simmo, he,s also got a C Band dish hooked in ( Insat 2E FTA Indian channels) with same problem
Signal quality ok (75%) Audio ok , NO VIDEO

Does he get video from any channels on any satellite?

No video on any sats just audio

Sorry, I didnt see that you wrote B3 in your OP!
If no video on any sats, then maybe a faulty decoder?
(The TV is working ok?)

Question. If you can't get video at all, how do you see that you are getting 75% Q? In fact how was the receiver setup done without seeing anything?

In the menu setup mode thats ok, I did,nt set it up but it was working ok a month ago . Yeah I told him to return it to his supplier as I could,nt work out what was wrong with it

dont waste anymore time is almost gone buddy,i have replaced a few but you can actually get it to work if you restore it to factory settings but it will fail again for sure.
the software is very unreliable..I dont know where you can get the software from.
