Guys, I had upgraded my 350 a month ago to v5*something and it worked well, except on the main menu where you see:
OSD Settings
TV Settings
Event timer
Master reset
System info.

My 350 no longer displayed the system info title.

I later upgraded to v 60 and all seemed well untill of late when I have been scanning a lot and LNB tweeking, everything seems to be going backward, losing tp's when I know they are there, not picking up freqs when they are there, etc. I did the master reset, but cannot seem to get it to take another upgrad (using a null mdm cable). I indicates on cptr sending to stb, but TV monitor indicates serial upload failed. I already have a fine collection of door stops, did'nt need another.

Those door stops all work, but just juse a Fortec and the Manhattan (till now). Would it be the boot loader that is shot, the unit still powers up but is at factory settings. Will hook it up come sunup and see what happens. Nothing on the manhatten site or any others ref boot loaders

As Nuckle's said, don't upgrade.. Ask yourself, what am I going to get with an upgrade that I,m not getting now. and the chances are 'nothing"

Really,, our market is so small, if you can call it a satellite receiver market in the first place, that software writers simply don't know we exist, and quite a few receiver manifacturers, simply refuse to supply this part of the world, It's not worth there time to find agents for there products.. Nokia flatly refused to give any service, or warrenty, and it's never changed today.

At the present time, there is NO software writern for this part of the world, Sure there might be a few small advantages, but mostly, it's only luck, that we get an improvement, with differant software.

I know you are right, but I just cant help myself. The box is still working and I am not sure as yet if it is at 100%, more tweeking to do. But it certainly wont take an upgrade so as factory reset level is where it stays for now. Till I find a fix that is.
