This program will change the background/Menu picture for Fortec recivers.
(Not sure what ones do or dont work, But it worked on my lifetime Ultra)

All you do is get a .Bin file for your reciver and load it in to this program also load the .mpg file you want on the background.
(You can convert picture files to .mpg with 'Ulead Video studio' iam pritty sure also some other program may also do this)

Then upload the .bin file normaly to your reciver, and your done.

There are a few examples to look at or use in the images.zip file attached.

Just found this. all it does is opens and changes the picture in a .Bin file, then you upload it to your box. But the picture has to be a .mpg file, I think programs like Ulead Video studio can do this not sure.
But the program works, And i have changed the background on my box.

Kyle

Work it on other receiver that have .BIN file?

Might be an idea if you where to tell us, Just what receivers this program WILL work on. The unknowing person could load this file and reduce his receiver to a "Door Stop"

Like it says in the heading "fortec"
I used it on my Ultra and it worked.

does that mean that i could have a picture of K.Pricker (isnt he hideous with those 1.5 solids stuck either side of his head) as the background while i watch f.t.a sat?

Yes, well its only on the menu background. e.g, On the Ultra there is a picture of clouds, It replaces that picture.
