I'm going for the NZ bloke, I don't like mundine much.

who won ?

08-09-2004, 11:23 AM
Mundine,, like in all his rigged mismatched fights

Mundine was a better fighter tonight but is it just me or was that last round TKO seem a bit strange. Sullivan seemed fine to me and hadn't even been knocked down in the whole match and Mundine said he would win with a knockout. I think Sullivan would have lasted the whole round but boxing is all about publicity. I could be wrong but I think that TKO was called a little early.

But, out of most of the Mundine fights I have seen, this Sullivan fella is one tuff bloke...I take my hat off to him..

08-09-2004, 12:26 PM
He was tough, becuase he's been round for many a year..... But as usual mismatched. C'mon Mundine fight danny green. I'd pay for ring side seats on that one.

08-09-2004, 12:38 PM
Book the seats big fella...I'll work out the Virgin flight to Las Vegas............

08-09-2004, 12:43 PM
If he was gunna take on Greeen I reakon seats would sell out in a minute. Hell the PM would be their to see it.

simmo and yalickit in las vegas, I can already see what the scene would be like on cops:

yalickit: Sorry orificer, I just wanted to borrow the 5M satellite dish of the top of the 20 storey hotel building.

simmo: I didn't mean to take a leak off the top while I was up there, yalickit dared me to.

You will never see Mundine fight in Americia,, Don King controls boxing over there and he has a distint disliking of mundine, remember 9/11

09-09-2004, 02:42 AM
Actually I will give Mundine credit when credit is due. Didn't he say something along the lines of the USA had it coming? I find that an honest answer because you can't keep pissing people off and not expect them to fight back. I agree bassett, his USA career is dead because Don King is one of the patriotic americans. They even had US soldiers being cheered on stage before one of Don King's boxing matches.

Didn't Mundine just come back from fighting in the states??? Some training thing??

he went out to Roy Jones's boxing complex, which is huge, and did a bit of sparing with who know's who.. Met a few people, and left
