Hi:
I saw something about he AZBOX Premium HD+ on this forum and decided to get one. So far I have not got it to connect to internet although it recognizes my WiFi. It came with no manual or CD and the power cord did not fit our US power sockets. The hard drive cable was also missing. When I set up internet with a static IP is tells me "Completed" but in the first menu it cycles between "Connecting" and "Checking Status". It picks up nothing on a any of the scans. The signal level is at about 70 whenever a cable is plugged in, but quality is always zero. My bet is that I have a lemon, but maybe someone out there could tell me what I may be missing. AZBOX e:mailed me a manual but it is not much help.

Hi Bill,
I would be very much interested in an answer to your problem as well - I was about to buy an AZBOX premium HD plus out of Miami last night, but emailed them some queries first - one related the electrical connection etc. I will watch with interest.
Regards,
Gary

What version firmware are you running? I would suggest downloading the latest 5020 and installing that before you go any further.

The best firmware I have found is 4890.I have tried 5020 and went back to 4890.
